220.0101 Corporate Stock Transfers. A change in ownership of real property occurs upon the transfers of shares of stock in X Corporation, which owns the real property, and in Y Corporation to a newly-formed holding company in exchange for shares of stock in the holding company since, after the transfer, a change in control of the kind contemplated by Revenue and Taxation Code section 64(c) has occurred.
