220.0053 Condominium Conversion. The conversion of a community apartment project to a condominium, which provides each former owner of an equal undivided interest in the apartment property with ownership of the apartment he/she occupies and an undivided interest in the common area as a tenant in common, results only in a change in the method of holding title which does not change the proportional interests of the co-owners and is excluded from change in ownership under Revenue and Taxation Code section 62(a)(1).
