Item J Rulemaking; J1 Readoption 8 of Proposed Prepaid Mobile Telephony Service 9 Regulation 2460, Administration. 10 MS. MA: Okay. This item does require a 11 vote. So, to the Department, Mr. Kwee, please 12 commence your presentation. Introduce yourself for 13 the record. 14 MR. KWEE: Yes. Good afternoon, Chairwoman 15 Ma and Members of the Board. I am Andrew Kwee with 16 the Board's Legal Department; and with me today is 17 Bradley Heller, also with the Legal Department. 18 We are here to request that the Board vote 19 to readopt proposed Regulation 2460, Administration 20 with grammatical nonsubstantial and sufficiently 21 related changes that the Board authorized staff to 22 make last month. 23 The sufficiently related changes address 24 clarity issues that were raised by the Office of 25 Administrative Law staff, and they ensure that the 26 regulation clearly prescribes the requirements for 27 sellers, other than direct sellers, to register for 28 prepaid MTS account with the Board. 3 1 Staff provided interested parties with an 2 opportunity to comment on the changes to the 3 original proposed text of Regulation 2460. And 4 staff received one public comment, and that was from 5 MuniServices, and that was in support of readoption 6 of Regulation 2460 with these changes. 7 Thank you. 8 MS. MA: Okay.
