            5             MS. MA:  Before we adjourn, I have three 

            6    adjourn in memories this month:  Carol Connelly, 

            7    Neil Halloway, and Ben Tang.  

            8             Carol Connelly worked in the Use Tax 

            9    Administration Section, Field Operations Department.  

           10    Carol was with the BOE for 23 years.  She began her 

           11    career with the State of California at the 

           12    Department of Motor Vehicles and advanced to a Tax 

           13    Technician III with the State Board of Equalization.  

           14             Neil Halloway worked in the Information 

           15    Security Office, Administration Department.  Neil 

           16    was with the BOE for the last eight years.  He 

           17    started as a Staff Information Security Analyst and 

           18    was later promoted to Senior Information Security 

           19    Analyst.  

           20             And Ben Tang, who many of us know here, 

           21    worked in the County-Assessed Property Division, 

           22    Property Tax Department.  Ben was with the BOE for 

           23    16 years.  He started as an Associate Property 

           24    Appraiser, advanced to positions of increasing 

           25    responsibility, and was the Chief of the 

           26    County-Assessed Properties Division when he retired 

           27    in 2015.

            2    their family and friends.
