            5             MS. MA:  Okay.  I don't have a script for 

            6    the Closed Session.  So do we say we're back in 

            7    session?  

            8             MS. RICHMOND:  Yes.  The Board Members 

            9    met -- 

           10             MS. MA:  Okay. Ms. Richmond.  

           11             MS. RICHMOND:  -- in Closed Session and 

           12    discussed settlements, pending litigation, and 

           13    personnel matters.  

           14             MS. MA:  Okay.  So I'm going to report out 

           15    from Closed Session.  

           16             The Board is pleased to announce the 

           17    appointment of Chris Caietti to the position of 

           18    Chief Technology Officer, Centralized Revenue 

           19    Opportunity System.  

           20             The Board is also pleased to announce the 

           21    appointment of Susanne Buehler to the position of 

           22    Deputy Director, Business Tax and Fee Department.  

           23             Both positions are effective immediately.  

           24    Please join me in congratulating both of them to the 

           25    BOE Executive Team.  

           26             (Applause.)

           27             MS. MA:  The Board has also appointed 

           28    Cynthia Bridges to the class of Special Consultant,

            2    months, through June 30th, 2016.  

            3             The Board also appointed David Gau as 

            4    Executive Director, effective April 1st, 2016.
