            6    matter.  

            7             MS. RICHMOND:  Our next matter is item 

            8    P1.3, CROS Project Update and Actions.  

            9             MR. HORTON:  Welcome, Mr. Steen.  

           10             MR. STEEN:  Thank you.  

           11             Good afternoon, Members.  Eric Steen, CROS 

           12    Project Director.  

           13             Just a brief update for you this afternoon; 

           14    and that is, we are not going to be receiving final 

           15    proposals in mid-May.  That -- receipt of proposals 

           16    will occur in mid-June.  This ensures that we'll 

           17    have multiple qualified bids to evaluate over the 

           18    summer, and we should commence with implementation 

           19    in early February of next year.  

           20             Thus ends my report.  I'd be happy to 

           21    answer any questions.  

           22             MR. HORTON:  Discussion, Member Runner.  

           23             MR. RUNNER:  Just real quick.  You know, 

           24    I -- I know we get frustrated sometimes when the 

           25    process gets slow and the nature of it.  But I'll 

           26    tell you, the nature of having multiple bids is 

           27    essential for us.  And so if it slows us down a 

           28    little bit in order to make sure that we have an

            1    array, then that's really important and I appreciate 

            2    at least the thought as to how to keep that process 

            3    going for that purpose.  

            4             MR. STEEN:  Thank you very much.
