Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program aims to assist individuals and families with household incomes of less than $51,000. Every year, VITA volunteers who have been trained and certified by the Internal Revenue Service offer FREE tax filing assistance at various locations throughout our state.
The VITA program has had enormous success in previous years as it has helped low income families and individuals bring home millions of dollars collectively, returning these dollars to the communities in which they are most needed.
