880.0370 Charitable. In view of Revenue and Taxation Code section 214.10, activities such as persuading a county health department to institute a plan of rodent eradication and a plan of building inspection to board up vacant houses, improving garbage collection efforts in vacant lots, and obtaining improved lighting in high-crime areas qualify as charitable for purposes of the exemption.
