220.0337 Leases. An extension(s) granted to a lessee(s) holding a long term lease(s) does not result in a change in ownership if, upon the granting of the extension, the lessee(s) has the right to use the property in the future for less than 35 years. For example, the lessee with a 29 year lease may receive several 5 year extensions and not subject the property to reappraisal if the extensions are granted at intervals that always keep the remaining term at less than 35 years.
