  • Provide women entrepreneurs with an opportunity to hear from and dialogue with experts on technology, new media, marketing/branding, acquiring capital, securing investors, global expansion, and strategic management.
  • Help California taxpayers start, grow, and maintain businesses in California; expand their operations globally, and comply with the tax laws, policies and rules.
  • Teach leadership, problem solving, conflict resolution, and life management strategies and techniques.
  • Introduce participants to key decision makers at the Board of Equalization, Franchise Tax Board, Department of General Services, and the Employment Development Department, building relationships and goodwill.

Toro Tank Boot Camp & Auditions: Pitching and Presenting
Learn what the judges are looking for in your pitch, proper etiquette, and how to keep your pitch brief and concise.
Auditions will determine who is entered into a drawing to be one of the 10 selected to compete in the Toro Tank.
When: Thursday, June 16

Session One: 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
Session Two: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
